Reflect on the Year That Was 

Start by practicing gratitude—literally count your blessings and write down your wins, no matter how big or small. Celebrate your progress and growth because they are worth acknowledging.

Prepare for the Year Ahead 

I want bigger and better for myself in 2025—don’t you? With less than five days to go, now is the perfect time to set your intentions. For me, that starts with creating my vision board. It is a ritual I believe in deeply, helping set the tone for a new year and a new life. If you’ve never tried it, let this be the year!

Theme/Word of the Year 

In 2024, my word of the year was INTENTIONALITY. Every decision I made and every room I walked into was approached with thought and purpose.

For 2025, I’m taking things up a notch. My new challenge? CONSISTENCY—the one thing I’ve struggled with for years. This time, I’m determined to stay the course. But I won’t lie: I’ll need hacks and practical tips to stick with it because, truthfully, I SUFFER when it comes to staying consistent.

Gratitude!

As I take a step back and reflect, my heart is consumed by nothing but gratitude. I feel an immense sense of pride for what we have started together. IPELE KA WENA has been a dream living rent-free in my head for two solid years—waiting, yearning to be 'born' and shared with the world. Taking the bold step to finally bring this dream to life and share it with you fills me with so much joy. I never thought I could start, but oh boy, did I START! And look at us now—we even have a newsletter. Slowly but surely, we’re building our creative community from the ground up. I love this for us: YOU and ME. Truly, I do. This journey we are on is going to be such an incredibly interesting ride, and I am here for all of it. Thank you for being part of this dream.
